Aboriginals at War

Aboriginals in the war

Hidden behind the scenes

Acknowledged far too late, recognition forgotten, although there

They fought to protect from the wrath of war

In the forefront, a willingness to die to save others

Although late to acknowledge, forgotten no more

For they put themselves, selflessly for us, in front of arms

No longer forgotten, forever remembered

Aboriginals at war, our other veterans, must no longer be forgotten
