Follow the Leader

I was thinking back about a place I worked. It was about kidding around. What happened was a lady teased me with a funny walk and I teased back. Within minutes of doing it, I thought it was similar to a lady who walked like that and I felt like a real heel. The worst thing is I never questioned why she did that and I should have. Instead, I shrugged it off and carried on with working. To this day, I’m annoyed and I should have got verification so that it didn’t happen again. I don’t like to do things about other people. However, I don’t mind kidding around and having fun with the people I work with. It just would have been nice to know if it was just kidding around or if it was about copying someone which is a different issue.

A thought, I thought. So hope you keep in mind of others and don’t be like me and ask, because it’s an ease of the mind.

Why I Stay Strong

working together

If I didn’t have a sense of humor life would have eaten me alive.

If I let my past rule I would have died a long time ago.

If I didn’t have a care in the world I would have given up.

If I let myself down I would have also let you down.

So when I say I’ll be there for you then I’ll be there as best I can.

I will bring you the sunshine when you think it no longer exists.

I will bring you Kleenex to wipe away your tears.

I will carry you when you fall and pick you up when you are down.

Which is why I stay strong, to let you know I’ve been there too and together we can get through it all.

Walking in ones Moccasins

In the bible it states that everything we do should be done in moderation. Therefore, it is excessiveness that causes one to fall. Are we then the ones who are hard on each other? How many times have we, as a human, jump to conclusion before we have given one the benefit of the doubt? How many truly know their neighbours. Can we condemn another before knowing the facts? I’ll leave that thought with you as I also think about it because I was taught that unless we have walked in their moccasins we should not judge.

Hammer You Down

You ever distance yourself from people just to get a break from the hammer that brings you down? I grew up with so much negative that I learned a long time ago to distance myself if it became overwhelming.

What brought me to this discussion was reading a site I would like to share with you. I know it is for authors but it holds true to anyone. No one needs another’s put down so start finding people with positivity in their words. Make room for those who believe in you.

My heart to yours. Be strong.
